Renovated May in 2024, the motel was fully reimagined to reflect its relaxed coastal setting. The design blends bohemian ease with subtle retro-surfer references, layered with natural materials to create a modern, playful atmosphere.

The reception area introduces the palette with a beach-inspired desk clad in reeded ash, topped with pale quartz and illuminated by minimal pendant lighting. Saltillo-style tiles bring pattern underfoot, while warm wood furnishings and a custom rattan coffee station establish the relaxed character carried throughout the property.

Guestrooms and cottages pair modern simplicity with organic textures, framing unobstructed ocean views. Muted, timeless furnishings are balanced with playful accessories, retro artwork, and restrained pops of colour, creating interiors that feel both calm and memorable. Compact furnishings and efficient casegoods maximize space, while bright kitchens with bold backsplashes echo the vibrant character of the nearby beach.
