To complement the "Bloom" HGI prototype design of the guestrooms, the lobby and dining areas were injected with more substantial rich toned millwork and modern angular lighting features, paired with comfy textural furniture. To achieve a balance and create the upscale vibe desired by the client, more dynamic accents like multiple chevron patters and refined finishes were used throughout the public areas.
HILTON GARDEN INN WILSONVILLE PORTLAND, OR
Wood paneling with metal accents were used throughout the property to create interest and drama that is cohesive as you move from the lobby to the lounge and into the pre-function spaces. The central lounge space is anchored by a two-sided fireplace and custom diamond shaped pendants, creating a sexy ambiance attracting both guests and locals to dine. The lighting throughout the lounge and lobby areas is dimmable, enhancing the space for a moodier atmosphere in the evening.
The hotel boasts of a fine dining hot spot, Parkway Grille Bar & Restaurant. Natural materials like marble paired with leather seating further enhance the overall luxurious feel of the dining room and lounge. The majority of the wall finishes are kept light and airy so the restaurant and lounge area function well for both breakfast and evening dining. Cream leather banquettes along the wall in the dining room frame the space and provide an intimate area for family or group dining.
The reception desk and bar feature bold, back-lit onyx facades, paired with darker walnut tone versus the lighter white oak tone, typical of the HGI Bloom Prototype. The light walls are contrasted by a rich color palette of deep navy blues, golds and teals used in the carpets, architectural screens, and furniture throughout.
