Chicago, IL, USA

The hotel was built in 1923 and is a landmark on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. The goal was to create a design that highlighted the classical elements of the hotel while incorporating modern features. Upon exiting onto the 2nd floor, guests are greeted by the serenity of a white arcade and the warmth of a free standing onyx fireplace that acts as a division between the Lobby and the Lounge.  Smoky grey walls are anchored by curved sofa style booths and velvet dining seating. Shimmering sheers seductively offer patrons an intimate seating area for dining or lounging.
